The Big Birthday and Bon Voyage

There’s no way this journey could start any other way than with a celebration of friendship.

It is said we are fortunate if we have one or two true friends in a lifetime. I somehow have ended up with a few more than that – and it is the greatest gift I have been given.

After nearly 2 decades in Austin, to have the chance to celebrate the big 40 with so many of the people who have watched me grow, carried me along the way and loved me anyway was the best birthday present ever. Having the chance to look around a room and see the many chapters of life represented in the faces around me is hard to put into words. So many journeys we shared together and so many more ahead. Thank you all for getting me to this point and I can’t wait to walk the road ahead with you.

Thank you for showing me that no matter where I am, I always know where home is.
