The Tao of 2019

“We seek some kind of permanence; a person, a philosophy, a feeling, a state, a story of ourselves, even a spiritual identity, to hold onto. But the fleeting nature of all experience ensures that everything we grasp eventually slips through our fingers – including our attempts to stop grasping. Until we recognise that impermanence is actually a dear friend, and fragility gives life its beauty, and this seemingly ordinary day – with its waking, its washing, its breathing, its joys and even its pain – is the dear friend we have always longed for. The Beloved calls us home in any way she can, and this ‘ordinary’ life is her ingenious invitation. You are imprisoned in grace, dear friend, and the key was never made.” – John Foster, courtesy of John(ny) who crossed my path in Scotland…many thanks my friend

I don’t think there is a better way to describe my experience over the last year than this quote. To everyone who laughed with me, cried with me, walked with me, explored with me, checked on me, followed me, directed me, encouraged me, inspired me, led the way, showed me the path and got lost with me, created with me, lived a little magic with me, meditated with me, carried me, guided me, taught me, got confused with me, danced with me, kept me going and shared love, wisdom and heart over the last year every step of the way – thank you for making this year the most unbelievable year ever.

Wishing you all much love and happiness in the New Year!

Thank you for so much more than you’ll ever know –
